Application Requirements
1. High School graduate
2. Good health
3. Proficiency in Chinese
Entrance Examinations
1. Chinese Language (written exam)
2. Assessment Exam (including English, math and basic aptitudes)
3. Interview (Those pursuing degrees in languages other than Chinese must also pass
exams in the language they plan to major in.)
Test time and place:
Second Thursday and Friday of June each year at UIBE
Tuition and Fees
1. Application Fee: The equivalent of US$100 in RMB
2. Tuition: The equivalent of US$3,000 in RMB per year (except for the Program of Chinese
Language and Literature, in which the tuition is the equivalent of US$2,800 per
year.)
Tuition must be paid in full at registration for the fist academic year and then paid
semester by semester.

April 1 to May 31 each year
Documents for Application
Documents can be prepared in either Chinese or English.
1. UIBE Application Form
2. A copy of applicant"s high school diploma and transcripts
3. Letter of guardianship and a copy of guardian"s passport or ID
4. A copy of Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) results (scoring at Elementary Level C or
higher)
5. A copy of passport or other identification
6. Two passport photos
Please apply at the School of International Education (Room 207 at Huibin House).
Admission
Those who have passed the examinations will receive from UIBE an official notice of acceptance and the required documents within two weeks after the tests. To secure their place applicants must remit a non-refundable tuition deposit of the equivalent of US$500 in RMB. |
